If you had to pick one front lip

Which one would you choose? This is for a EB M235i!

3D Design

Tuningwerkz

BMW M-Performance

Edit: Yes I know the M-Performance one is on a F3x platform.

4th option: wait for Challenge, Vorsteiner, etc... to develop their versions then choose.

Spoke to vorsteiner and Akrym they've both informed me that they are not looking anytime soon.

I'd also wait until you fuck up the stock one, which you will invariably do. Scraped mine last night in a dark parking lot.

I don't plan on wrecking it. The car gets driven once a week - maybe. The stock one? I don't plan on damaging my front bumper.

I didn't wreck mine by any stretch of the imagination, just scraped the underside looks 100% fine from head on you need to climb under the car to see anything. I was more implying that clearance issues with any of those will be worse than stock.

My vote would be none of the above. The stock lip almost scrapes on my driveway as it is.

Try attacking the driveway at more of a sideways angle, you will have better luck and reduce the potential of scraping your precious lip

Dang. that isn't even a steep driveway... lowering springs, front lip and even the most modest driveway and scrape city. Anyway, my vote is MP on a blue car... 3D on a white.

What he said. I'm still holding off on a lip though, waiting to see what other companies produce.

I had a raise driveway from the street in my old home. I found the only way was like said here, angle it when approaching a higher grade (front end first). When going from a higher grade to a lower one, as I did when leaving my driveway, go backwards on a angle (just like you did going in) rear of car first. This will gain you the highest ground clearance.

I'm pretty surprised people are favoring the M-Performance lip.

I'm scared to pull the trigger on the mp lip cause of the reviews. Don't wanna have to deal with it always scraping the damn floor.

I though they were all very nice, and I would go with any of them but the M-Perf seemed to be the best for a daily driver. And I've seen the M-Perf in person on a 4-series and I liked it.

But carbon fiber of faux carbon fiber lips and tail look great.
