What? I don't think the M3's bumper is too busy. It's definitely on the busy side, but I LOVE it.

I have nothing against busy designs that flow well. back at ya

The butt of the 1M looks soooo much better imo...sad day for me that I have to recognize that.

LBB is the color of choice for me.

Not sure the bodywork has moved things on from the 1M. Indeed think I prefer the 1M. Need to see the final reveal but a bit disappointed

I'm curious what it is they think they're hiding at this point. The forward and rear "vents" won't drastically change the look of the car and we already pretty much know what the rear will look like. The front design will be a massively arched opening, which will match the sculpting lines in the rear vent, and there will be a nice crease over the fangs in the front. Might as well rip the camo off already.

And can someone shoot the photographer who watermarked these pictures?

Am i the only one on here that wishes that the new M2 came with a carbon fiber roof like the present M3/4?

The car looks good, not too aggressive but fat enough in the right places.

IMHO the M235i bumper looks rather bland while the M2 bumper might end up looking a bit over-the-top. Let's wait and see...

Overall, I think the 2-series (base car) fixes many of the things that looked odd in the old 1-series coupé. It's an improvement but it's still not what I'd call BMW design at it's best.

The 1M was a bit of a different beast. Its design features distracted well from the overall "slightly odd" looks of the base car. It really was spot-on. Not sure if the M2 will be quite as much of an improvement over the base 2-series.

In short: I like it so far, but I think the M4 looks better.

It looks great, in almost any color; I'm a little color challenged so the blue is a little more difficult for me to vote on, but I like this car in white - can't wait for the actual reveal.

I stand corrected then.

Looking really good in white on these pics, initially I did not want another white car but maybe I will change my mind...

As a color I like the LBB, but it really looks so much more aggressive in the AW.

So this is just BMW's version of a strip tease at this point right?

It's like having a Bra and Panties on now.... Enough

It went from sell e90m to f80 to f82 to cayman gt4 to cayman gts to m2 to keep e90m full track build + mini cooper to f82 to m2 now. dammit.

Ordering the M-performance CF lip the minute I order the car, though it's not a serious deal breaker.

No joke when I say I literally like all those choices.

I also considered the new MINI Cooper S. They are fun, and the interiors are freaken nice for a car this price.

The one thing that is for sure is that I will never sell my E92 M3 unless I'm absolutely forced to.

This car looks soft. As does the rest of the 2er platform.

There and no hard angles on the front, making it appear more bulbous and less of that polished, sharp look. The vents, when unveiled, will help a lot. As will aero add-ons like a front lip, etc.

Then again I thought the e92 M3 looked soft, and I ended up loving it like crazy!

my struggle is to find that perfect double duty (albeit I don't mind driving a track focused car daily) car, or to have a dedicated plus cheap but fun daily car.....a car where you can WOT, row through 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and still be at about 55mph LOL.

but I don't see a pickup truck so the track should be able to be driven to and from. or buy a pickup and a trailer.

what is life doing to me?!

No... you are not.. you are customer # 4,534 with this complaint, however it still will come without a CF roof.
