He's a young guy looking only at new vehicles with great handling, performance, fun to drive.

Not necessarily, I have looked at used Caymans and Carreras, but for a modicum of practicality in what will be my only daily driver I feel the need for 4 seats.

My S2k was a daily driver for 5 years. I only have 1 car and live through New England winters. Many S2k owners upgrade to Cayman S or have both. Both cars in a different performance league then 228/235

Maybe not rely on a car to get women...
Truer words have never been written. If you are a single man and even remotely considering what women will think when determining which car to acquire instead of basing the matter solely on what YOU want, then you are an idiot.

I agree and that's why I've ignored it.

I also think girls are a lot smarter than that. Then can sense that kind of thing. They know if you bought a car to impress them, and then also can tell if you bought a car because you love it and you love driving it. They're good at picking up on "posers" - even if a "poser" in this scenario is simply someone pretending to be a car enthusiast.

And the girls who know you bought a car just to show off yet they still go for you, are not the girls you want in your life.

Girls only care about how much money you spend on them. Not what you spend on yourself.

I would never be with a girl who gives a crap about that, either. I've been with my lovah for 4 years and she still insists that I don't buy her expensive shit. I honestly couldn't, even if I tried. She wouldn't accept it. Feels weird about it.
