Is it worth it? That's a question I asked myself just after having mine fitted. But 1000 miles in an it's just getting better. Deeper, with louder pops and farts. And the nice thing for me is I can cruise all day at motorway speeds and not know it's fitted.

no it`s not worth it!
the mp exhaust is just rubbish imo... coming from a 135i with performance exhaust I was really disappointed. the real problem is the midpipe and downpipe. so it really doesn`t matter with muffler you get. That`s why I`ll get a catted downpipe and midpipe.

depends on the cat used. so it does not work with every catted dp.
but the manhart catted dp will avoid cel lights. you could get a catless or another catted dp which will throw a code and erase the codes with a jb4. but when you go to your dealership and turn off the jb4, it will throw a code. that`s the big problem. I could pass you a contact via pm if you like to.

I had mine installed 2 weeks after I drove the stock exhaust. I like this one much better. It definitely crackles and pops more than stock. Personally though, I'd wait a bit and let some of the other manufacturers come out with an even better product.

Not it should not. If you want, you could have BMW install it, but be prepared to pay more than most Indy shops in terms of installation.

do it
I debated for a bit. Now its the absolute best thing I could've done. The car sounds amazing in Sport+ and cold starts and basically stock the rest of the time. Totally livable and great quality item. I recommend it.
