ED question

Friend of mine is doing a ED in October with his wife.. I plan to go along with mine.
Want to rent an M235 from Sixt to follow along,, just wondering
if SIXT will arrange for pick up at the Welt?
And can we accompany them during their delivery?

thanks

I know nothing of SIXT's policies, but I can answer your second question...
I'm pretty sure that BMW has no problem with guests accompanying ED buyers during delivery. When I did it, I saw a couple families of ~5. Everyone got to enjoy the lounge, buffet and delivery. Now I realize that you're not 'family' per se, but I'm sure it'll be fine. The staff's attitude is very customer-friendly.

The good, you get to go to Oktoberfest. The bad, hotel rooms are crazy expensive and not available.
My advice is to order tickets to the tents you are interested in going to at the Fest now, some of them sell out. You can stay in a hotel outside the city core and take the U-bahn into the city, it is easy, fast and your car will be safer.

If you can swing it get the VIP tickets. You can commune with the masses as much as you want then take a break. PWC took us one year and it was great, but no idea how much $ since I didn't pay for anything.
