New M235i xdrive

Hi all!

I just traded in my E92 328i for the screaming fun M235i xdrive! She is as follows:

BSM/Black Leather
Premium
Cold Weather
Technology
Driver's Assist
Driver's Assist plus
Enhanced Bluetooth
HK and
Auto Trans

I found a dealership who wanted to move this super-loaded version off the lot so I was able to snag a fantastic deal (*under* invoice).

Coming from the 328, this thing has unbelievable power no matter what I'm doing. Uphill onramp in the wet? Handled! Awful bumper to bumper in the city and have to move around that stopped taxi? Managed! Need to wake up my wife with the exhaust note? Done!

I can say that the absurdly light steering at low speeds took some getting used to, but I would classify that as a difference not a negative. Also, my color combination leaves me with a fairly monotone interior. The aluminum trim helps, but I wish I had something else to break up the color scheme.

All in all, the car is a tremendous upgrade over the E92!

Even with a cell phone pic car looks awesome!

Doesn't it handle amazing even with bad weather like heavy rain and some flooding the car just has so much control on the road

It does handle well in the wet; although my own driving capabilities cause me to be more cautious in the bad weather.

The application of xdrive seems to be different in the E92 vs. this F22. Specifically, when it was raining, the E92 had a "heavier" feeling and the car seemed more reluctant to get-up-and-go. In the F22, I can't notice *any* difference.

It is a thing of beauty to blast by other drivers with the reward of that intoxicating exhaust note!

"more power" doesn't describe it. How about, "an endless cascading band of acceleration that becomes scarier the longer your foot is in the pedal". I feel bad winding it out it in the city because the turbo spools up just as I have to jam the breaks at the next light.

I wonder what you are going to say if you ever go FBO on this car

Have you tested the launch control?
Xdrive works fine, hopefully here will be a lot of snow in winter

My Estoril blue will look good in this car I think. I think that you can buy interior plates in different colour, or how?

Have a nice ride

Have not tested launch control. I don't believe it will function in the first 1000 miles.

Nice, car looks great. I'm picking mine up on Friday. Alpine White, pimp red Coral leather! Dealership is tinting the windows. Cold, Premium, Tech, Harmon Kardon for the tunes. Pics to come.
Good luck on the ride!
