ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHTS ...Broken ?

Picked up my 2016 M235i with the adaptive headlights and wanted to try them out since another member said theirs were completely missing from their car.

So, when I was in my garage I turned the wheel to the right and I saw the lights turn to the right ...a lot ....then I turned the wheel back to center from right and I saw them return to center.

Here is why I think they are broken..... when I turned the wheel from center to left the lights moved just a very very small amount to the left, nothing in comparison to the degree of movement as to when I turned to the right.

Is this normal ?

Mine seem to be the same as well, most pronounced movement right vs left. Doesn't seem to be much a problem in practice. Maybe it's so they don't shine directly into the view of oncoming traffic?

They will move more to the left as your speed increases...I believe this is a safety issue for oncoming traffic.

They don't move left when you are stationary or creeping.

Did you set your lights to auto? It doesn't turn if you turned them on manually.
