ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHTS ...Broken ?
Picked up my 2016 M235i with the adaptive headlights and wanted to try them out since another member said theirs were completely missing from their car.
So, when I was in my garage I turned the wheel to the right and I saw the lights turn to the right ...a lot ....then I turned the wheel back to center from right and I saw them return to center. Here is why I think they are broken..... when I turned the wheel from center to left the lights moved just a very very small amount to the left, nothing in comparison to the degree of movement as to when I turned to the right. Is this normal ? |

Mine seem to be the same as well, most pronounced movement right vs left. Doesn't seem to be much a problem in practice. Maybe it's so they don't shine directly into the view of oncoming traffic?

They will move more to the left as your speed increases...I believe this is a safety issue for oncoming traffic.

Did you set your lights to auto? It doesn't turn if you turned them on manually.
