Ah 220i may be the way to go. Test drove a diesel 3 and it was awesome. Should be higher mpg also

Actually the overall length and wheelbase are less than an inch longer than the E36 M3. Going by the leaked specs the other week of the M235i, the 228i unladen weight should not be too much more than the E36 M3 3,175lbs.

The more I learn about the 228i, the more it interests me. I had an M Coupe with the S52 and it was great. It wasn't as quick as our 135i, but it was loads more fun. A 228i with an LSD and decent brakes would be very appealing.

I've only driven the N20 with that infernal 8s, not a 6s manual, but suspect it's a good fit with all three pedals.

That's what I'm saying. The 228 is gonna be a beast with a lot of tuning potential at what I hope a decent price point

I hope they allow the option for the m sport package in the 228i. Anyone know if estoril blue will be available on the 228i or is it only for the m235i.

Estoril blue will be available with M Sport Package (If M Sport will be available, probably will)

I know right! It's killing me here..

At least we got the new iPad 5, iPad mini 2 and new macbook pro reveal happening later on today, to keep us at bay till the 25th
