Finally! The day has arrived!!

I feel like a kid on Christmas especially since I physically unwrapped the car s few hours ago. I've been waiting for this day since I first drive the M235i in 2014 at the BMW Performance Driving Center.

I fell in love with the M235i that day and the memories have stuck with me all that time. I leased a 13' 328i x-drive in August of 2013 and it just didn't make sense financially to dump out of it. I just had to wait..and wait...and wait.

I placed my order at BMW of Newport in January and took delivery today. I got the car for a little over 9% off MSRP and took advantage of the 2 payment loyalty waiver and 3 month pull ahead.

Specs:

2016 M235i x-Drive
Mineral Gray
Terra Leather
Drivers Assistance
Harman Kardon
Heated Seats
Orbit Gray Wheels with Pirelli RFTs
Brushed Aluminum Trim with Black High Gloss

I didn't see those Orbital Gray rims on the option list. I wonder if that's a US option only. If you get a chance to take a close-up pic. They look black. Could of saved myself a bit of money as I'm on the hunt for black VMR's.

Thanks guys!! I went back and forth between AW and Silver. I was on the configurator and built the MG/Terra w/ the Orbit Gray and I knew that's the combo I wanted.

Ha ha ?. That's funny my salesman said the same thing. I quite enjoyed taking all of the plastic off of the outside. You can still see the suction cup marks on the windshield and side glass from the robots installing them.

Congrats!

That's the EXACT car I have on order..

I'm really glad to see that the Orbit Gray 436 wheels look so good with the Mineral Gray paint. Thought it might be a mistake.. Was already pricing different wheels and converting the stock wheels into winter rims.

Enjoy and thanks for the pics.. You saved me considerable worry...

Thanks!

You're going to love the color combo. I've only had it since Saturday and I've already gotten a bunch of compliments. The one thing I think I'm going to change is the mirror covers. Thinking of wrapping the m in carbon fiber.

My m235i is very close to yours, but I deleted the moonroof, and the only option is the Cold Weather package. I did port install the LSD and m performance interior trim and exhaust. I'm saving those Orbit 536 wheels for winter tires. I put my lighter APEX AERO wheels. My APEX AERO wheels are powder coated Anthracite, and look almost the same color as the Orbit gray. If you want to see the results of my add ons and the wheels? Ho to Bimmerfest Introducing the Grey Ghost. We did a carbon fibre wrap that look great in person, but strange in the pic.

Interesting...I was very close to going with the moonroof delete also. I went back and forth a couple of times but in the end settled on keeping it. I enjoy letting the sun in on beautiful days.

I went with just the heated wheel. I've had the cold weather pkg. on 2 BMWS and while I love the heated wheel I detest the headlight washers more. No more stocking up on washer fluid during the winter.

I've thought about the wrap and I think I'm just going to go with the BMW performance carbon fiber mirror covers. Tischer has the for $260/side.

I didn't know that you could get just the heated steering wheel. I've had the headlight washers on my mini, could care less one way or another. Same for the seats. On the moonroof, I like the clean look. Never use the sunroof on the RAV 4, and my wife prefers no sunroof too. Never used.

Sorry, I meant just the heated seats. I wish the heated wheel was a stand alone option

Just turn the headlights off. Shuts off the headlight washers.
