I definitely wouldn't call that boring, I'd most likely call that "stealth".

Yep, that I've heard plenty of time haha. Until of course I start the car, because there's nothing stealth about the exhaust system.

I do love me some grey, because it can be menacing and elegant at the same time. Hard for me to explain. Not to mention you can great some very interesting color combos when you combine with a unique interior.

With colors like Austin Yellow for example, I feel like you have no choice but to tone it done and go with black interiors.

I agree, I think the new Donnington Grey will go really, really well with a red interior. The outside will be super classy and the inside will give it life.

And with Austin yellow, I also can't sees any interior but black going with that color. Maybe black with yellow stiching? I guess the only other interior color that could work is gray, but that's pushing it.

That's not to say that AY with black on the m2 won't look amazing... It definitely will.

I agree with everything you say. Yellow on grey interior would be absolutely no go though haha.

Like I said in a few threads, I'm only interested in about 3 options, to keep price down. It'll come down to LBB or AY, and I'm 99% sure I want to go with cloth seats.

Having said that, if I go LBB and BMW offers the same seat interior as in that X6M, I might be interested. That is such a beautiful color combo. I really wish they'd bring back Cinnamon interior.

P.S. Can you guys believe it's been since September since we've seen a peak of these M2 spy shots. Where the heck are they hiding?!

Looks Nice! I was was just kidding BTW. I like gray shades as long as brown doesnt show up in them. I always thought Space Grey had a little brownish hue to it...

That donnington grey looks awesome....so does LBB.

Oh I know. I don't mind Space Grey but I find it a little boring. Love Sparking Graphite because it's got a purple hue to it. But otherwise, my first choice was going to be Melbourne Red on that car, but mine was just too good to pass up.

Of course, color choice is about as personal as it gets, but IMHO, just the way the M2 is going to look, with it's ridiculous flared hips, and that super aggressive front, a bright color just suits it so good. Same goes for the 1M really. That's why I think VO is hands down the best color for it.

W/// your car looks EPIC!!!
I personally love space grey, think it looks fantastic especially on the 1'er.
As for the ///M2, I am so damn confused.
Must it shout?
Should it be subtle?
Sexy combo? (grey and red was my first option on an M235i)
Keep it simple (sexy colour, cloth interior).
Who knows.
I'll just be happy to have my ass in that car.

I was finally able to see an X6M in Long Beach Blue at a BMW dealer and I am still unsure if I am going to order the M2 in this color. As W said in an earlier post, the color is basically a combination of Estoril Blue and Atlantis Blue. The car was inside,so I didn't get to see the color in the sunlight. What I didn't like about the color is that it is almost like looking at two different colors painted on one car.You see that nice Estoril color mixed in with the Atlantis color.I still have to see the color outside in the sunlight before I decide if I order Long Beach Blue or Alpine White

Here are some pics.

^That's precisely why I love LBB so much haha. It's a very vibrant color.

You definitely have the basic idea of the color down. But I'd definitely wait until you see it outside. It really pops. Assuming that's what you want of course. There's absolutely nothing subtle about LBB.

I will definitely wait until I see the color outside. The lighting wasn't very good inside the dealership.

With the subtle color options for the M2, it is leading me toward the believing that this design will not be as aggressive as in the 1M IMO. If I were to see color options available similar to that of the M1 then I would start to get more excited about the possibility of a design that would be worthy of something more edgy looking. Hopefully, more options pop up.

When it's outside, you'll see more of the Atlantis Blue.

How do you figure that with color options? Makes no sense to me. Long Beach Blue is quite easily as loud as Valencia Orange in my opinion.

M2 will be far more aggressive looking than the 1M, which I think has quite the baby face. The M2 will resemble the GT6 Vision car which is the most aggressive BMW concept I've ever seen.

I'm fine with the exterior colors but it would be better with more interior options. Black is so boring, my last 4 cars have been black and I'm sick of it now - blue stitching or not!

I saw it at the Welt a month ago. I'll get the pics posted. It is hard to explain exactly how much it changes color based on the light and angle. Wife first saw it and said "why would want a teal car?" From that angle and with the sunlight it was TEAL. From other angles it is EBII. From others it is a mix. Very interesting color. Must be seen in sunlight to realy get the effect.

Perfectly said. I will admit, it's definitely not for everyone.

A friend of mine that is not a car person saw an LBB X6M on the road. She said she saw this gorgeous blue color on some type of a BMW crossover. Knew right away what she was talking about
