When does your 2018 model production complete?

Just learned my m240i has entered production and should be completed 8/25!

That seems odd to me - I called and got a VIN number the day after it entered production. Scheduled for completion on August 21st.

If you have a production number, call the 800 number. They will give you the status and projected completion. I have found that the website is virtually useless. I also had trouble adding a vehicle on the site with only a prod number - seems to want a Vin - which they will also provide when you call and ask.

I called the 800 # today with my production number, and it said that my 230i is scheduled to complete production on August 29th.

I then talked to a representative who gave me the VIN. Now I guess I just have to wait for shipment from Germany...

Congrats! I still have no my production date. How long it took to get a production date after ordering?

I placed my order on July 10th. I received a production # on August 9th when I emailed my dealer and asked for it. It might have been available earlier.

BMW couldn't give me a VIN on the 9th, but when I called today I got a VIN, and was told that production completion was tentatively set for August 29th.

My 2018 M240i at port awaiting ship assignment. For frame of reference for those of you thinking about your own timelines, my build completion target was 8/21 and arrived at exit port today 8/28.

Mine was scheduled for production the week of 9/11. Today when I called it is scheduled to complete production 9/1. Go figure.
