2015 2-series Spy Shots?
Hey guys,
New the the forum. Planning on picking up a 2015 m235i in about 6 months. Long time car enthusiast and BMW fan. Great board and excited to learn. I was wondering if anyone would be able tell me the purpose of the camo on this 228i? Took this pictures today on my way home. I'm not seeing anything different from the 14 model, except for maybe the wheels. Could this indicate a face lift for the 228 for 2015? |

it looks exactly like my 228i with model 385 wheels... only mine is mineral grey. although one thing i noticed was that the side mirror caps are a different color, which normally comes with the sport line or m-sport package.

FWY looks familiar... was this on the 210? lool
Spotted a couple hybrid test mules before in the past and they've all had some sort of label indicating that it was a hybrid, so probably not. My guess... probably an early variant of the US-spec M2 doing testing Perhaps they used a less expensive 228i for suspension testing? Compared to the amount of camo BMW usually uses for LCI testing, This car has way more. Plus, The car was just released less than a year ago! No need for them to begin road testing the LCI versions so early. |
