Best Bluetooth OBD2 for M235i?

Thought this would make for a good thread -

BT OBD2 for our cars - which is best ito ability / reliability / etc...?

This has best rating but most $ (accord to Amazon)

ScanTool 427201 OBDLink LX Bluetooth: OBD Adapter/Diagnostic Scanner for Android & Windows

Others that seem good to decent and better priced -

BAFX Products - Bluetooth OBD2 scan tool - For check engine light & diagnostics - Android ONLY

Saddle Super Mini Bluetooth OBD2 OBDII Scan Tool Check Engine Light & CAN-BUS Auto Diagnostic Tool for Windows & Android Torque (Blue Color, Super Mini)

Vgate Bluetooth Scan Tool OBD2 OBDII Scanner for TORQUE APP ANDROID

Anyone with experience in these? Would be great to know more about them?

Thanks

This is the one I have, and it's been working perfectly. And it's inexpensive. And small. WIN!

I have used the BAFX in my RX-8 and it's worked well. It is longer than some but I believe the 2 series port is off to the side, so shouldn't matter. I've used it with a 4 foot extension and splitter and it still works fine.

While I am knowledgeable with some tech items, I must admit, I'm a total noob when it comes to this. However, this seems like a good place to ask the following: will this allow me to stream music from my Android phone through the Bluetooth on my 2014 model (streaming not available unless you got the Tech package)? If not, any ideas?

I wouldn't cheapen out on ODB 2 Bluetooth. There is a lot of substandard China-made crap floating on Amazon.com. Chinese address on the box and numerous misspellings are a dead giveaway. I am guilty of ordering one of those: I could never pair with my phone, maybe for the better because it would likely drain my battery if I got it to work.

"ScanTool 427201 OBDLink LX Bluetooth: OBD Adapter/Diagnostic Scanner for Android & Windows" for $69.95 on Amazon.com looks like a better bet, they claim it won't drain the battery and also it apparently remembers bluetooth settings (lots of cheap crap doesn't so you have to pair it each time).

I will probably order one of those soon.

I ordered the iSaddle on Saturday but I'll return and get the ScanTool 427201 if it doesn't go into sleep/shut off after turning off the car. i was planning on keeping it plugged in all the time.

I wonder if there are different versions of the BT adapter. Next time I'm in the car I'll jot down the hw & sw version numbers. I think you can get at them in the Torque Pro settings.
