Makes sense then. At least in my mind. The electronic trunk release won't open unless the car has been unlocked. (Not just the trunk)

I had just told my wife a week before you can't lock the keys in the car. The sensor for the trunk must be pointed away from the vehicle.

Been playing around with the auto/start stop and anytime I have the car in park and ready state the car automatically turns off once the door is opened. Also, noticed if you are in Drive and turn the car off it automatically puts the car into park without hitting anything on the drive selector lever. |

Try backing up with the door open, depending on the situation the car will automatically go into park.
You guys are right....I drove around the bock today with the key fob in the garage. I will never leave my car running/doors locked & go into a store again Last edited by horsepower_and_hounds; 01-17-2015 at 07:44 PM.. |
