So I just raced one of these from a dig. He used launch control because I heard the Rpms bouncing. Mine is 6spd and rwd so obviously he got a huge jump on me (almost 2 cars by the time I hooked up). When I clicked into 3rd, my front bumper was at his rear tire. We slammed on the brakes at that point but I'm guessing if we kept going or tried some rolling pulls, I would eat him. His was stock but he gave max he said and mine is FBO with BM3 tune. I thought with 400bhp he would jump and hold the lengths but damn, very impressed with this tune! Just thought I would share.

I test drive both the 2018 RS3 and then the 2017 M240i and the only difference in performance to me was the RS3 had a mild delay before it went full blown animal lol. I felt the M240i was almost as aggressive but shifted faster.The RS3 however sounded absolutely glorious but with the Dinan mid paired with the m-performance/Dinan exhaust I believe the 240 would sound not as nice but close enough.The cars had both pros and cons in my direct comparisons. The RS3 was slightly faster but given what I paid for my 240 and the low interest rate, I saved about $20K. It became a no brainer

That being said, RS3 is as advertised.

I'd rock an RS3 as a DD, no problem. The expectation wouldn't be that of a RWD coupe, though.

I'm strongly considering getting a CPO'd RS3 (or new S4) in a year or two, to park beside the F22

Brand new. Still had dealer plates on. Some unlucky soul will scoop it up after a thousand launch control attempts. It does hook like a madman though!
