Drove angrily, and it was fun!

Got home and discovered my boyfriend's elderly St Bernard had a couple of very messy accidents in the house. Dragged the dog onto the patio and proceeded to drive spiritedly to Walmart for cleaning supplies; enjoyed the rather speedy acceleration and interesting sounds of the 228i when revved appropriately.

...and in the course of dragging a dog that outweighs me by 20 lbs outside, I stepped into some of his squishy mess and tracked it into the car. All-weather mats mean easy clean-up, fortunately...

Now that I've had it 5 days, I did the front center speaker delete (HK system sounds a fair bit better now) and removed the hideous warning stickers from the visors.

Removed the rear window tint. It was the last bit of my super dark tint. I'm going lighter. I've had too many run ins with a certain State Trooper in the last six months.

Relatively easy to do.

1. Pull it off.

2. Spray Turtle wax adhesive remover and let t sit for 10 minutes.

3. Use a thick paper towel or shop towel saturated with the adhesive remover to break up the glue.

4. Repeat step 3. This gets most of it off.

5. Apply mineral spirits using the same type of towel.

6. Finally use a good window cleaner to remove the residue and clean the Windows.

7. Enjoy.

Cool! Is there some instructions you followed to take the center console apart? I would love to do the same.

Thanks!

Installed dual slat kidney grills today. These were off of an M2 so I simply removed the 2 and centered the M logo.

Had a dent pulled out that I caused with a weed eater in my garage late yesterday. My weed eater got wrapped up in a power cord some how and when I yanked on it the thing flew through the air smacked my fender by the wheel well and put a quarter size dent in it. I couldn't take a picture of it because its a silver car and you could only see it from certain angles. Anyway, I found a Dent Doctor today and they pulled it out for $50 using glue pull technique. If anyone hasn't used these services its incredible the dings/dents they can take out if the paints not cracked.

PDR is like magic isn't it? For those unfamiliar some areas can be trickier to work on that others, so having someone good is important as there's an art to it.

Ha! I feel your pain! I am taking delivery this Wednesday 17 weeks and 4 days (or 4 months and one day, if you prefer) after I placed my order. Can't wait!

Ouch! I'm already wondering how I'm going to survive the 6-8 weeks my sales guy estimated - I can't imagine waiting 4 months. Good luck getting some sleep tonight and congrats!

MP front splitter installed today. jack broke after i had the car up on the jack stands so it ended up being a pain in the ass to get the car down afterwards but totally worth it. car looks so much better now.

Where 2 find; Blacked-Out/”Murdered” Roundels

Hello, I’m new to this website/forum and not quite sure if this the appropriate sub-section. I have completed all Dinan (Stage IV) performance mods to my 2016 Black Sapphire BMW M235ix (F22) and looking to add some final aesthetic mods. Specifically I am looking for Blacked-Out/”Murdered” Roundels for hood/trunk/wheels/steering and Blacked-out Dinan-4 and M emblems. I have seen them but cannot find where to purchase or the associated www does not work. Cost not a consideration (within reason). I desire professionally engineered parts for direct-fit. I am not interested in a do-it-yourself spray-paint-dipped/paste-on sticker. Please let me know where to find via reply or pm, Thanks!
