Thermostat Stuck Open?
Anyone else have this issue?
My dealer says the part is back-ordered, it's been 2 months now with the SES light on. And of course, with my luck with door-dings, they dinged my car when I dropped it off Unrealized 11 53 8 635 689 :B1SA-Thermostat Found fault 1D2404 thermostat activation. Ran test plan, found t-stat failed. |

Man, sorry to hear about that unacceptable wait time. What happened to the door with the ding, that's unacceptable as well.

2 months is just insane - if this is being covered under warranty id be asking for a loaner.
If this isnt covered under-warranty id be considering doing a coolant pump at the same time. Coolant pumps and thermostats are very common on BMW's |
