You can always check Info_Map.imp in folder one. But...
Europe Next 2017-1 = 00A90029 --> 0xA9 0x29
Europe Next Lifetime = 00A900FF --> 0xA9 0xFF

So I got my DE.fsc file and saved it however when I attempt to use the NBT.exe wrapper it states the DE.fsc file is not valid... Tried doing a command prompt using nbt.exe DE.fsc 0xA8 0x28 and then that delivers an error saying nbt.exe is not a valid command.

Have nbt.exe installed from this thread and followed the instructions per the thread as well to get the DE.fsc file from Esys.

Someone willing to assist me in either getting it to work so I can generate it myself or let me send them my DE.fsc file to get the code?

Send me DE.FSC and name of desired Map.

You need to be in the same directory as the nbt.exe file in the command prompt otherwise, it will not run it. Everything is relative to the current directory next to your cursor, if you do a "dir" command, and nbt.exe is not there, then your in the wrong directory.

If you use latest wrapper, you can simply drag and drop DE.FSC from anywhere and it does not have to be in base64 format or in same directory as nbt.exe or cic.exe. But, if you use cmd, then it does need to be in same directory.

Both ways work. The wrapper just allows users to easily generate codes for multiple years and lifetime by just selecting option.

Just updated my maps to 2017-1. Took me 8 hours between the reading, downloading, installing/uninstalling the incorrect decoder, but it was worth it. Plus I saved $29, which is what an EBay seller was going to charge for generating the FSC code and sending a link to the free map update files. LoL

Could any dealer work have changed my DE.FSC info? I have been using the same NBT.EXE and DE.FSC for 2-3 GPS map updates now and all of a sudden the code I'm getting is invalid.

For F31 (amnufactured nv 2012) with Next 2013 maps if I want to update to fresh 2017-1, after plug in 64 GB usb with maps system doesn't ask me to update map. Nothing happens. If i go to Media, NBT recognize USB. USB stick it's ok, was use 3 days ago on F15 wiht NBT too. Might, NBt unit have on older firmware and it doesn;t recognize 64 GB USB stick for map update ? or maybe first need an intermediate update like 2015-2 ?

I know that NBT unit don't have second USB port in glove compartment ...

So why it doesn't recognize 2017-1 maps ?

Change USB stick with 32 GB version and averything is OK. I think there's a problem with early NBT firmware (car manufactured 11/2012) and doesn't recognize 64 GB USB stick for map update.
