AFE intake M235i Vacuum line issue

Hey All,

I got my AFE intake on today and I'm looking at this vacuum line connection and its making me very nervous. I read online that people are apparently experiencing issues with the vacuum line connection...

Can anyone share if there intakes look similar?

Anyone? Also it looks like the bottom of the intake is touching the radiator hose too...

I noticed the same thing, but if you watch the end of the video, they actually say to take the engine cover off and pull the line a bit. Not sure if you got to do that part, or if it really is necessary.

The line pulled is the MAF line. The vacuum line can't be adjusted in any way.

I had the same problem with my AFe Magnum. The problem is that they put the hole in the tube in the wrong spot which pulls the factory hard vacuum line and doesn't fit correctly. I called Afe about the problem and they claim they never heard of this problem and they offered me no solution.
