I am getting sick of wanting Valencia Orange but not getting that engine or those seats.
BMW should bring more colors not keep the same for years. And it is so easy to play with some colors and bring some cool new ones.

It is getting annoying...

No imagination?
Personally, I think the M235i would look fantastic in a yellow color like the new cayman.

Also, I'm still angry about the interior color choices, I don't like any of them. I wish I could ask BMW for the alcantera blue interior ._. or oyster/black

The more expensive the fewer choices one have? What an absurd policy!!!

bmw individual will not be available on 2 series, so all in all, a disappointing list of colours for the m235i

I am getting really tired of bmw's exclusion of colors when it comes to the M package or the M235 in this case or any other more sporty variant.

As if they know better than us all what is sporty and whats not.

I would rather overpay individual invoices and get the colors I want. But then again that is not an option.

I can imagine that Melbourne Red won't be offered with the new M3/M4 now that the color has made its way down to the 328/335i models, being replaced completely by Sakhir Orange. Guess we'll find out in a few months time.

Anyone else quickly read the first few words of the title thinking we were finally getting our US configurator?

BMW 2 Series and M235i... "Yes, finally!"

...Color Availability "Oh"

bummer on the m235 with no VO however there are some other solid color choices.

Either way this car is going to be fantastic and can't wait for it to hit dealers

This list of colors is a joke. But I guess if you keep the M235 or M-sport "bland" enough, people might want to move up to a (hopefully) M2 or 3/4 series.

Some odd shit indeed from BMW lately...

BMW want you to chuck on all the M performance bits onto your car to make it look more individual, since the colours are so bland. Great plan

Can't wait to see the M235i in person. Sad that it will be impossible to find a 6-MT on the lot to test drive. I also agree with a lot of the comments above. Too bad this car won't be offered in some wild colors. Maybe BMW is holding off for the M2.

They really need to offer more non-metallic colors, such as red, blue, orange, etc. If you ever have to match paint due to a fender bender, some metallic colors never match.

Au contrary, metallic paint is easier to match and it does not fade like non-metallic. You just need to respect the technique, the way is applied and blend properly the clear coat. The metallic flakes have to be
oriented a certain way or it doesn't match the car. So, is the painter who is not able to match the color, not the metallic components in it.
Metallic paint holds up much better and is more resistant to fading than standard flat color paints. Non metallic paint fade very fast since they don't have metallic particles to reflect the sun.

I'd rather not see VO on a non-M car. It's a shame they put it on some other ones already. I like the idea of certain colors only being exclusive to M models.

Yes! M cars should carry exclusive colors only available on them. But then you have a color like VO on a 1M and no-line 2 series, but not on m235...LOL? wat?
