2 month old m235i in golf ball plus size hail
I can't believe this. These are images from a person on another forum that lives in Reading, PA. 2 month old m235i most likely totaled.
I have the same exact color combo/grilles...I would cry, cry, cry if this was me. |

I'm no expert of hail stones. But some of them look too deep. Almost like someone's done it with a hammer.

That's just sad. I had similar hail Tuesday night in Chicago. Luckily my car was in the garage, neighbors Honda not so lucky. It looks just like this, all glass shattered. The hail did rip all of my window screens, and dented the crap out of my house and roof.

I would still buy it... at the right price.
For someone who's good at body work and can do it themselves (which is not me), this would be a hell of a deal. It's not like buying a flood car since all the electronics and the engine are still fine. |

Where I live this happens about once a year, leaving your car in an outdoor lot is a risk...
We had ~100 million dollars in claims one year from one storm. And the city I live in is really that populous... I would genuinely cry... |

The interior did actually take a bit of water damage, I don't know how the electronics would be affected. It was a torrential downpour and the sunroof was gone...

Did Jacobs get any damage on their cars? It's not that far from my house so figured they might have gotten the hail at the lot as well.

That car is probably a total loss from an insurance perspective. Paintless dent repair could probably take the majority of those out. Damn it looks so sad though, my condolences.
I'm always worried in July, August when the storm clouds roll in. Hail chasers from the states that do paintless dent repair come up here every year and make a fortune. |

Believe it or not, he was actually in the car.
Quoted from OP: "I only just got home. It happened while I was out driving. Had to pull over to the side of the road and sit in the at hopelessly as the windows collapsed around me" "I am thankful for that because the hail balls were larger than baseballs and a few of them hit my arm directly, so it's all black and blue. I was freaking out so much that I forgot I could slide over the panel thing after the glass caved in." |
