I wonder if our CA's are informed when the cars are in transit from the port. Mine is telling me my M235i should be ready for me Friday morning which suggests to me the car will actually be arriving Thursday.
I told him I don't want some punk kid-porter screaming the guts out of the car on the way to gas her up. He laughed and assured me the only one leaving the lot was an old man.

you can call bmw genius hotline and ask your status at the vpc to see if it was released to carrier yet. let me know if you find anything out!

Mine has a carrier assigned but not released. It's eventually going to PCD via Norfolk Southern rail.

That has me worried a bit. My work order started today and it's still at vpc. It usually gets released to car carrier the same day. Guess I got car damage. Just my luck

Im still on schedule to take possession tomorrow afternoon, hopefully morning. Its been quite a long exhausting wait...

It's only a little better in every way in my opinion than the M235i.

No regrets. The m2 is awesome, but for where I live the Awd was important to me. I was also buying a daily driver. The m2 is a special car, but not the cAr I want my wife taking to the store in the winter.

Hell no. Looks like its going to be tomorrow. Trucking company is waiting for a truck to load the damn car. Sunday will be 12 weeks since I placed my order. Wish I could send my buddy up there with his flatbed truck and tow the thing here

I have absolutely no regrets. M235i is one bad ass car for the money. If you look at BMW's entire performance line up, most of the cars have very similar power to weight ratios and very close 0-60 times. Lap times between some cars vary a small bit. For me though M235i is the complete package.
The only difference between M2 and M235i is a little more hp, stiffer aluminum suspension components, 100% locking lsd, engine internals that are a bit stronger, wider tires and flared fenders.

Went to my dealer today and signed the paperwork for the PCD. Just twelve more days. Also got my wife an X3. She's a happy lady.

I finally picked up my car Saturday!

It was a long and fascinating journey with this delivery. Thank you everyone who contributed to this thread! You guys definitely help me kept sane from all the crazy delays. I got lucky and received Michelin tires on my 19s. Let the modding commence!
