Ordered my new BMW 228i/Red 2 weeks ago.
Right now it's in production. Taking the PD at South Carolina. Scheduled for Dec 9th. Kinda disappointing that PD is too late for car which started production on 10/5/2015 Anyone knows how to get faster PD ? They say they can't change the date, but I am pretty sure they will get the car at least 4 weeks before the delivery date. |

My re-delivery is taking it's own sweet time. Made it to NY on 10/15. Didn't clear customs and released to liner until 10/19. Not here in Maine yet.
My last ED, it arrived in NY on Friday morning and was at my dealer in Maine Monday morning!  Patience is a virtue. Or so I keep telling myself.

I think I may have just won the delivery lottery.
Ordered 2016 M235xi 9/09/2015 (status 112) Actual production date 9/23/2015 Ship left Bremerhaven 10/1/2015 Ship arrive in Baltimore 10/14/2015 Picked up at dealership 10/16/1015 38 days (5 weeks) from order to delivery. I only live about an hour from Baltimore and I'm pretty sure my CA put a rush order in so that's why it only took 2 days from ship docking to delivery, he knew I was super excited. |
