Mirror tilt stopped working randomly for me. I verified the code is set properly, and I haven't coded anything new in almost half a year. The passenger side mirror just won't tilt anymore when I go in reverse. 2015 model, manual transmission. Anyone else experience this?

Have you plugged your car in and seen if it's thrown up any error codes ?

I have access to BMW workshop service software that diagnoses and identifies all fault codes and can retrieve all installation/removal instructions provided by BMW for the mechanics and detailed info about wiring etc you get my point lol

You probably moved the mirror selector to the right.... it has to be to the left to the tilt to work

I'm still learning to love a car that is smarter than I am too...For me it was accidentally putting it into stop/start mode and freaking at the first startup, thinking the guy behind had tapped me. Good thing they also make us taller and more attractive

Pretty sure I saw an option for this while coding but I figured I'd ask here while the topic's come up:

Can I change the angle of how much the passenger mirror points down while reversing? It's a bit too much angle for me and would like it to point down less.

I find the mirror tilt useless and would rather have the mirror not tilted so i can avoid hitting an object rather focusing on parking lines.

My mirrors don’t fold on reverse neither I have to do it manually every time as I park in reverse to not drag or hit my front bumber

The tilt on reserve has nothing to do with comfort access. I'm pretty sure it is standard on all cars with the premium enhanced (or at least in Canada). Basically if it doesn't work when your mirror selector is in the correct position than your car probably doesn't have it.

In Canada you don't need any specific package for mirror tilt in reverse, just power seats (which were standard on our 2017 M240i). Our car only has metallic paint and the storage netting options, nothing else, but mirror tilt in reverse works fine.
