Anyone using USAA extended warranty?

Anyone using the USAA through assurance Ext warranty? My SA said it was fantastic for mods wise but wanted some reviews.

My 4 yr quote was much less than that, not too mention the BMW warranty is actually more than that for me
48mo/48k 5k flat. Bmw was in then7k range for less.

2014 m235i - I plugged my vin just to get an exact quote and it came up 5600$ for the 48/48k. The 36 is 3.5k though. I’m at 49,900 miles too

The premium seems to be dependent on your current mileage. If I put in 45,000 miles the cost is $6600 for 4 years from purchase up to 100k.
If it put in my current mileage, ~15000, the cost is $3979 for 6 years from purchase up to 100k. I have 2 years left on my factory to that's really a 4 year/100k.

I think about it once in a while, but it would have been a waste on my 06 325. Minus tires, I spent $6100 on maintenance after the warranty. $1700 of that were items that broke. Oil housing leak, control arms, ignition coils. Everything else was fluid changes, plugs, brakes, etc. Of that $1700 only $200 or so would have been covered by an extended warranty. I will admit there were some oil leaks that would have needed attention if I kept the car another year or so. But none of that would have been covered.

4k now or 6.6k later is a lot of coin to plunk down for the small chance of a catastrophic failure. Just my opinion. Everyones financial situation is different.
