But barely! Just tapped its back leg. Thankfully the only damage was temporary - the passenger side headlight got pushed back under the hood about 3/8". I didn't even realize there was a problem until I drove after dark one night and noticed one light was aimed extremely low.
When I got the car back from the body shop (ABRA, they normally do excellent work) it initially looked great. Then last night I noticed the parking sensor in the attached photo. The middle two look like this. Maybe I never noticed it before - they aren't flush with the bumper at all like the others. Can someone look at theirs and let me know if this is normal, and ideally post a pic? I can't imagine why they would remove them from the bumper, I would have expected wiring harnesses would just get disconnected. |

The deer made it to the ditch?I didn't see it after that. It was like a 10-15mph impact. M
Repair was thankfully only $120. I probably could have done it myself if I had another pair of hands to help with bumper removal. |

Punctuation is really weird in the Bimmerpost iOS app.
Anyway, yes, it was a comprehensive claim, and in my case the deductible was $250. All paid out of pocket. |
