For the F83 M4 Cabriolet the price $9,005. Did BMW really want that $5.00?
And that package isn't anywhere in the vicinity of being worth $9,005 damn dollars. That front splitter is good though. |

A lot of people buy these parts for their cars already so it's good of BMW to lump them all into one package and save a few hundred dollars at the same time (unless you can sources the parts for cheaper elsewhere).

So, a performance package that's actually a cosmetics package.
We are truly witnessing history, ladies and gentlemen. 'Cosmetics' and 'performance' are now synonyms.* *Stickers not actually cosmetic. BMW AG tests have confirmed up to 20 horsepower increase with affixed stickers. Professional driver on closed course. Do not attempt.

Although you can easily source these a la carte for cheaper, the real savings comes to those that lease and plan on trading in or walking on lease end. PIAs are 100% residualized so you only pay depreciation. Imagine saving 45-65% on these parts depending on your RV! And they go on Window sticker and fully warrantied.
Even better is that these bundles make it idiot proof to have these added to your build. Take it from someone who recently had to work hard to have these PIA'd. This is a good thing and almost guarantees your CA will not screw up your order or deny parts can be added.

The aero bits are legit; and it makes upgrades dummy resistant. I always envision the big "value add" these upgrades deliver is the ease of hiding the cost in monthly payments.
