If you scroll down there's a bunch of high res photos. Much better than what the blogs get which they recompress and downsize. You can also DL them as a set, pretty good res. Also it links to some videos that you can DL without youtube compression. Although the BMW youtube channel has some good quality vids iirc.

Bumping this thread. No one out there yet with cognac interior? Would love to see some pics. Strongly considering a last-minute change to cognac for my Melbourne Red build, but don't know if I have the guts to commit to it sight unseen! Came across this AB M3 Competition picture online and just love the effect the cognac leather color has on the look of the car:
Thinking cognac could look just as good with red exterior. However, I'm worried that in person the cognac might be too dark and orange-y vs. these Ferrari interiors, for example (Can anyone out there comment on this???): Pics please! |

I finally found a pic through a Google image search of Melbourne Red on Cognac, however it is a 6er. Still helped me visualize what it could look like on the 2er, so thought it would be worthwhile to come back and post it:
Source of photo: http://www.bmwblog.com/2016/07/08/20...le-test-drive/ I really like it. Color of interior reminds me of peanut butter more than it does cognac. . Just don't know if it would present as well in the 2-series with its non-perforated Dakota leather seats compared to the more upscale 6-series interior. Still though, it's tempting for my current MR build! Last edited by CP911; 10-05-2017 at 10:32 AM.. |

I don't know. It looks like an orange interior with a red exterior. The Ferrari combination is beige and red, which is classic. I would be careful about pairing orange and red together.

Pretty good, seems like an even better match for darker colors. EB2 would be a great candidate for this.

2014 M235i 8AT. Just picked it up two weeks ago MS w/ pretty much every option terra* interior and fine line streamwood trim. Love it. Having driven a 99 Z3 2.5l for 14 years as my daily....this is quite the upgrade. I really enjoy not being beat to death on my daily commute.
Love the terra dakota leather. Edited to "terra" color. I was mistaken. Last edited by JP1021; 10-09-2017 at 01:27 PM.. Reason: *Color is Terra, not Cognac. |

I'm so new to this car that I obviously don't even know what I have. I know I like it! Thanks for the correction. That's terra. My apologies to those who may have been misinformed like myself :-) |

Not sure if it's the lighting on those last pics, but that looks like the color of baby food. Same color before entry or after exit ;-)

Lol, good analogy. I think it looks good. I like the Terra in my M235i better.

I agree. He?s stopping by this weekend to show me his car so I?ll get a chance to judge how it looks in person.
