I see where you're coming from, you don't view your car the same way. If getting a M235 will give you that pleasure of driving/looking at YOUR car that doesn't have an STD then why the hell not trade it and get an m235.

You won't regret getting the M235 trust me. Best of luck!
Agreed....Then once that gets a nick you can trade it for M2. You will be very popular at the local dealer...

They should re-name this site "2Fanatics" or "2Idiots" after reading some of these posts. Talking about "rich kids" or entitlement, I love the posts wherein some guy has his car for one day and already dumped another $25,000 in wheels, tires, suspension, brakes, interior bits, exterior bits, engine upgrades, and paint making a $50,000 car a $75,000 car without turning a mile yet.

Or the ones where people complain because they don't like amber reflectors or lights on their car and they are "losing sleep" about the issue.

The ones that post the question of "should I buy a 235i, Mercedes C63 AMG, Audi S4, or Porsche Cayman S?" are great too...especially when they follow up with "I just got out of school and am wanting a fun "first" car." Then they go on to complain about each. My first car out of school was a $1,500 Nissan 280zx (with more rust than paint) not an exotic sports car..be fortunate you can even consider something in that pricer range "out of school."

And then you have those that lambast the hell out of others because someone chose an automatic transmission over a manual...who cares. We don't all live next to a race track or place where traffic is sparse. Be happy that you are in a position to be able to buy this car in the first place and stop complaining about stupid things because the Internet has made it convenient and anonymous.

Overall, I think these forums are becoming more about bragging and shooting cowardly opinions at people vs. a good source of helpful information.
I don't want to come off as entitled brat, I work for my car and its the first thing I bought since graduating college last year, so of course Im going to feel bad.

How would you feel if you car was plowed on your driveway by some idiot sibling?

I crashed my brothers brand new Corvette when I lost control of it and spun into a tree tearing the car literally in half.

He was glad I was OK and didn't get killed, went out and bought an M5 a few weeks later, and we still joke about it.

Your sister made a mistake. Get the car fixed and move on with your life. Plowing yourself into more debt because your baby got a scratch is not a smart move by any means measurable. If your startup goes public and you got your $200 million buyout, then by all means ignore what anyone says is good advice and do whatever you want.

Don't be fooled by their age. If your car makes that much of a difference, they are still girls, and superficial ones at that. Find the ones who like you with no car.

This thread is very convoluted but there is one valuable thing everyone can take from reading this nonsense.

"Dont ever let anyone drive your car. Especially your sister"

It's only a car. Get it fixed by a really good body shop. Drive and enjoy it. When you're ready, trade it in and get another one. It'll be one of many more cars to come your way.

On the other hand, your sister is family. A one of a kind.

Where did you graduate college from? Please, so I, and everyone on the forums know not to educate our offspring there.

The ignorance of this thread is absurd.

I would be happy my sister messed up in the driveway and not on the road where she could be hurt! Its just a car son...you will have many in your life time and you will love them all...but that feeling fades quickly! Your sister is for life and cannot be replaced!!!

Well I hope your next girlfriend doesn't take the same attitude about partners sleeping around or YOU might get ditched, with or without STD. I must say it serves you right, getting your new car bashed by your sister. That'll teach you not to lend it to a woman driver ! So there !

Come on, he's on a different forum now. No need to judge the guy from one previous/old thread.

I say trade it in for the M235i since you've wanted an M car from the start.

Am I the only one who cringes at the whole "getting chicks with cars" thing?

I mean seriously, you need a car to do that?

While I also hate the cliched "you must be compensating for something with your nice car", you can't help but think there's some validity when that's the reason.
