My dealer told me they don't come with the car too! Oh boy.

Anyone able to locate these rear cup holders? Alternatives? DIY mods?

Really? I will be asking about them for when I go in to pick up my plates. I picked up my '16 235 last Friday and the "Introducing Your New BMW 2 Series" booklet that was in the glovebox still says the following:

Yeh,I was upset my 2015 didn't come with them because I don't carry " cups" with me when I drive. I thought I'd rather have the inserts for storage instead, but the cupholders are perfectly good for stage as they are! They just require more reach.

I'm just thrilled my travel mug fits in the door slot. There was not a single place in my dad's 2011 328 so I ended up having to buckle it into the passenger seat when it was my loaner for a few days. Not that the inserts would solve this, but I'm still trying to find a better place for my phone as I continue to run Waze for my work commute. I just like gadgets and the option of trying them out.
