Had a terrible experience at the Beverly hills dealership today. was browsing the inventory in the lot, and all of a sudden hear a message on the intercom saying the two gentlemen browsing cars (was there with my brother) need to leave the property right now. the police have been dispatched...I was shocked to be hearing such a threat coming from the intercom. I went inside to ask about what that was all about, and they acted like it wasn't them and that they use a third party. Regardless even if it is a third party, in no way shape or form should anyone be treated like that at any business. The fact that they tried to laugh it off and say it wasn't directed at us ( we were the only two in the lot) was rediculous. Would never buy a BMW from there ever or even take my car there for service. Just a heads up to others in case they consider going there for any needs. I wouldn't usually call out a business like this, but have never been insulted like this before in my life.

Call BMW corporate and they should be looking for a new job.

Wow. I would certainly call BMWNA on that one. It's unacceptable to be called out like that for browsing cars. When I was younger, I remember that I went into a MB dealer to look at a new C class and they wouldn't give me the time of day because of my age and dress. So I wound up buying an Audi. Threatening to call the cops is much worse.

Although if the five-o showed up, the banana in the tailpipe trick seems to slow down the Beverly Hills PD pretty effectively.

That sucks dude. I'd call the sales manager to talk to him about it and also BMW NA.

This is really ridiculous. What would the cops have done? Arrest you for looking at cars in a dealership????

Shopping for anything in Beverly Hills is ridiculous. I went into Barneys once to get the GF a pair of shoes and the guy helping me gave me all this bullshit attitude. The situation did not improve when I pointed out that I was wearing his salary on my wrist and he sold shoes for a living a la Al Bundy. Needless to say the manager and I had a little convo.

My guess is lot is protected by security company with cameras and motion detectors. Still during normal business hours, this should not happen.
