Remote starter?

Anyone know if it's possible for a remote starter on the M235i? I know it's not offered as a factory option, just curious if anyone has attempted it?

Remote apps-- check
Start/stop technology---check
It is just a matter of time for someone come up with that!
P.S. Is someone using remote apps (lock/unlock-climate) already?
Not available in Mexico Yet.

I have the remote app on my phone but I havent tried it yet.. It would be awesome if they include the remote start function, but that may be wishful thinking.

Also for the regular remote starters, I don't think there is any CAN bus security bypass module for the F22 yet... Doesn't matter if you can't securely simulate the key security without having to leave a key in the car!

New thing for car thieves atm... esp in London.

They have been buying the hardware meant for dealerships and garages so they intercept the signal and programme a blank key, wait till your not looking and sod off in it.....

Have had a tracker fitted to mine with remote shut down.

It doesn't look like there's a real option for any F series vehicles. I've seen a couple YouTube videos with other F series using the factory remote to remote start... but no explanation how.

I'd love a remote start for the cold winter mornings.
