With the N26 engine
SITUATION
A Delivery Stop has been issued on certain 2015 model year vehicles with N20/N26 engines produced from September 4, 2014 through October 21, 2014.
These vehicles may have a crankcase failure. Approximately 145 vehicles are affected.
AFFECTED VEHICLES
Affected vehicles in center inventory must not be retailed or delivered until this issue is corrected.
Affected vehicles can be identified with a “Vehicle Comment” in the DCS Warranty Vehicle Inquiry or ISPA Light with the description:
Defect Code 00 11 53 03 00, Delivery Stop, Crank case failure. Bulletin will be published shortly.
This bulletin will be updated with repair instructions and warranty information when parts become available. Please contact your field representatives if you have any questions.

I wonder if this is the reason why I was told that my estimated delivery is now November 6th, considering my car got to NJ on the 27th.

Your engine wouldn't apply to this bulletin. It says N20/26 engines, not the N55 in your car.

I just hope none were delivered in Europe. I doubt that an engine produced after sept 4th would have been delivered in the US already.
