Resetting services on Ista ? should I

Guy's a couple of questions,

Am planning on taking the car in for some warrantee repairs (see another thread) I'm pretty certain it's a BMW 3rd party from OEM (long story)
I know sometimes they can refuse if servcies have not been done and uptodate.

So I got an email from BMW (and also on the idrive) that I'm due an oil change/car check/microfilter and ar filter

(I already did the filters (with BMW recipts) myself in october about 15k (my car is 16k) if I reset it in ISTA is this still ok, or is this on the key. SHOULD I reset it, or rather tell BMW here is the recipt I changed the filters.

In ISTA can I just reset the filters ? see screengrab (too lazy to get ista out LOL)

you can reset them without going through ISTA by holding down the button by your gauge cluster in the ignition on mode. There are videos on youtube. If that way doesnt suit you, you can also reset it through bimmerlink but since you're already there, resetting it in ISTA isn't a bad option either.

If you reset in your dash cluster, this is just fine. BMW will run a scan and they will know what has been done. Keep a log of your services with invoices. There is no reason to worry.

Those are connected to the engine oil as they are dependent on the number of oil changes.
