On the Tosca!!

So I checked the website today from Loginout and it has my car listed on the TOSCA departing Bremerhaven on the 29th. I can't remember where but I seem to have found all the ships that were departing that port and it listed the stops as well. I was able to plug in Charleston into the parameters and it gave me all the ships that go from here to there within the next 8 weeks. I'm excited.

TOSCANA is actually what the ship is called.

My ship departed Germany yesterday off to Gothenburg. Why cant these things move faster 16kn? BLA. They need some M engineers working on them ;-)

I'm a very patient person until someone misses a deadline. It's supposed to leave at the end of the month. It will be pretty cool to be able to watch it go across the ocean and make it's way down to Charleston. I makes one stop before there and then it keeps going around to the West Coast.

So I just found it. It leaves the port here in Germany on the 28th of this month and then gets to Charleston the same day I get to SC. Score!!!

Checked in at the gate! The ship should get there tomorrow and then it will be loaded on Tuesday and be out in the water on it's way to me me the day I get back to America. So excited!

So I just received an email from the shipping company with an invoice attached that lists a bunch of fees to the tone of $345. I'm a little annoyed that no one informed me of this when they said,"yeah the shipping will cost you ?50 when you drop it off for the paperwork". Not.

I'm actually sitting in the airport in Nuremberg waiting to board my first flight back with the whole family. We will be back this evening and then the adventure begins.

Well, I made it to South Carolina with the family just about an hour ago. I just checked and the Tosca has left the port so hopefully I get an email tomorrow with all the pick up documents in it. It still has to clear customs. Wish me luck.

My car is ready to be picked up! Hopefully when I get it tomorrow from the port there isn't any damage to it.

Hopefully it gets there quickly. Still have jet lag since we only arrived back in the states last night. I woke up wide awake at 5AM his morning. Blah. Going to tomorrow and all will be well.

Picked up the car from the port this morning. Took 5 minutes. All is well. It was parked next to a Z1. Haven't seen that thing in real life before. Cool car.
