M235i Build Status "Finishing Touches"

Can someone tell me who had their 2ers built, how many days did it take to arrive at the dealership when BMWUSA says it's in "finishing touches" status? Getting anxious and losing my mind waiting for this car....

Finishing touches is the very last step I believe. Should be a few days after being delivered to the dealer.

Mine got into port and status went to finishing touches on Wednesday June 24th. Dealer called on Friday June 26th and told me he was standing next to it. They prepped car and I picked it up Saturday June 27th. I live in South Florida so trucking situation might be different than yours but I expect you'll be loving your new car as much as I do very soon.

Thanks guys! Just anxious for the car to get here. I'm going crazy knowing it's on a truck on its way, but the time can't get here any faster. I asked my sale adviser for the ETA and he said it'll be Monday. Crossing my fingers no other delays. It should have been here by now, but was delayed at the port.

Mine is at Finishing Touches.... picked it up in March.

Finishing touches means they have to PDI the car by taking it out of transport mode, enabling nav, along with many other things to get it road-ready.. as well as giving it state inspection stickers.

My 228i has been on "finishing touches" for 2 weeks now. Still waiting for delivery. All I've been told is there was a scratch on the bumper that needed to be repaired at VPC. But 2 weeks?

After talking to my Client Advisor, he will need a day at the dealership to prep the car before I can pick up the car. Maybe an additional day now since I am getting tint and clear wrap. This is killing me! He did say, I can at least come down and see the car come off the transport truck. So I am stoked about that!
