Morning Cara

We dropped off our 228i after a great ED experience on May 16 at Loginout Munich. It left Bremerhaven on May 29. It's scheduled to be in Port Hueneme next Wednesday June 24.

Today the Morning Cara is going through the Panama Canal. I just caught it going through the Gatun Lock on the Atlantic side of the canal.

Counting down the days now. Hopefully we will see our new 228i in our driveway by the end of the month.

Finished the journey through the Panama Canal in 8 hours, so now it's in the Pacific Ocean. These are the pictures from the Miraflores Locks.

Morning Cara with our 228i is getting closer. Based on current information it looks ahead of schedule and should arrive in Port Hueneme late Tuesday evening. I hope they can get our car through customs and to the VPC by Friday. If we are lucky, maybe we can get it next weekend or the begging of the following week.

Morning Cara now in U.S. Waters, about 40 miles west of San Diego heading north at 16 knots. Should make Port Huneme right on schedule at 5:30 AM. Now I'm hoping it can clear customs and get to VPC by Friday.

Arrived on time today. Now the wait for customs inspection and VPC processing.

Thanks! Still waiting for it to get to my dealer for re-delivery. The wait is killing me. My CA says any day now.

Hope you get your car tomorrow! Do you know whether it was customs clearance or the VPC where the car spent more time? Mine arrived on the Cronus Leader into Port Hueneme on July 3rd, and am waiting for redelivery.

It went to VPC early last week. It might also be waiting for transportation to my dealership. The 3 day weekend did not help. I plan on talking to my CA tomorrow.

The 3-day weekend could certainly have slowed things down. Good luck for tomorrow.

Still waiting to hear from my CA. BMWNA said car was scheduled to be at dealership 7/4, but holiday may have delayed the delivery.

You could try calling Waggoner's trucking at 800-449-3195. You might get insight into when the car was / is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer.

Just got update from CA. Car still at VPC. They need to repair scratch on bumper from shipping process.

Got another update from CA. Now we are being told BMW is replacing entire bumper. So I suspect damage was more than just a paint scratch.
