Insurance increases - your experiences?

I have StateFarm. I have a car insured in Florida. Florida is crazy expensive. However,I just totaled my car. It’s 9 years old. It was all settled in 4 days. I expected trade in value. Instead they gave me retail. Pleasantly surprised. I would never change insurance companies. There is more then just price.

I am paying about the same premium in Colorado, for my 2018 230i, as I was for a 15 year-old Honda.

they just raised rates in CA. Over the last two years my six month policy has gone up 30%.

I agree 100%, cheap insurance is useless if you don't get fare value back and/or it's a major pain to settle a claim.

I have yet to make a claim with Gieco <knocking on wood> but know others who have and they have been satisfied with the results.
