Probably what I'll be doing as well, except I like my sunroofs and am willing to deal with the ~30-40lb weight penalty and higher COG above my head in addition to the price penalty. Solid build.

No.

Standard on the M235i.

On the 228i, it's available as part of the Premium Package or as a standalone option.
