Wondering about this too about my injen.
I watched a couple videos on it. Most people say just to get a new filter. The injen is oiled I believe. You would run it under your sink with some kind of mild detergent. Rinse from the inside to wash dirt and debris out of the filter not in. Once clean allow it to dry. Then lightly and evenly re apply the correct intake filter oil. |

You can (I have a Dinan cai as well), but does require oiling as well. I wasn't comfortable doing that so I just buy a new one every year. I was always afraid of how much oil to add to the filter.
