Does anyone have a video of how the Dinan sounds with the MPE?

I've been looking everywhere. I would really appreciate it.

Well, on my way home from a trip and I got a CEL for the mass air flow sensor. I'll get some cleaner tomorrow and see if that clears it.

It looks like my car just needed a night to sleep on it. I hopped in this morning and when I fired it up for its morning cold start the code was gone. I've heard of others running this intake (Injen) and either being able to clear it and never see it again or having to constantly clear it. I hope I'm in the former group.

We've sold a ton of injen intakes and they are the least finicky when it comes to getting a CEL.

Do you have a Jb4 tune too?

Hey Jeff

How are the two AFE intakes doing with CEL lights without tunes? Any feedback?

I just installed the aFe intake and the BMS N55 Stage 1. Took the car out for a spin after just putting the intake on, and it makes a really nice difference with the MPE.

The crackles of the exhaust on downshifts are a little longer and more pronounced, and the turbo noise - which I thought I would hate - is perfect.
No CEL, easy install, and looks good. Definitely recommend it.

What would you recommend for a 228ix. Would like a little more sound, power not a big issue. How about K&N. Had one on my S2000 and liked it.

Go with the Injen. Filter won't do much for sound.

I have Dinan CAI with MPE + sport cat DP on M135i - going on an early morning hoon/tunnel run over the weekend. Hopefully there'll be some techy with a go-pro so may get some footage.

Does the injen retain the OEM lower part of the air box like the BMS intake?
