I was interested in BM when I saw the back fire map that was basically gunshots. I would love that.

I really hope to get BM3 soon, just waiting to get a second vehicle to get the ECU unlocked.. Sorry, but does OTS mean other than stock?

Only way to compare Custom Map vs OTS Map is probably on the same car.
No 2 cars make same power, and probably should be thrown on the same dyno same day same weather and prob would make different power if theyre using different gas lol.

But Bryan car is a freak of nature puts down 326whp/380wtq on FBO only.

+1 for Enzo

f22_shayan everything is noticeable, even your STG1 is regardless of what the sellers tell you. If BMW wants to find out, there's data left. The way BM3 works, which is why its "Game-Changer". I wouldn't compare a Flash tune with a Piggyback/Boost Controller either.

The convenience of BM3 is, you can flash in your garage 2-3 days before Service, take it in and there won't be any wires to look for. JB4 comes in handy for those with Upgraded Turbos/Meth or PI controlling.

For ex, I am running BM3 OTS Map slightly tweaked to my car/setup but soon I will be running a Custom Enzo Map. How will I know which is better/best, thanks to the BM3 logging tool that will allow individuals or tuner see ACTUAL ECU parameters and properly see whats going on.
Thank you! That really cleared things up. And haha yea im aware that everything is noticeable. I was just wondering if the bm3 would raise more suspicion than the jb4 would

Thank you kind sir! So in other words, BM3 comes with an OTS map, no custom tune needed? But obviously we can use BM3 with a flash from a tuner, for example ENZO? Am i understanding this correctly?

Slightly tweaked just like you are right now, its not the same 335/435 tune in your car since its an M2.

It doesn't read ALL since, the more it reads the slower it grabs data, also there's a data gap with the bluetooth/canbus (jb4 hardware has a limitation in reading speed) reading versus OBD2/to/Ethernet ;-)
There's no way to monitor Knock on any or all cylinders like you can with Bootmod3. You know this already

So, I've been using my Bluetooth scan tool to monitor and I'm having a hard time exporting data. Do you guys use the BM program to log by running that ridiculous cable under ur dash? Would be way better if the BM3 reader was Bluetooth compliant so I wouldn't need the cords. Am I missing something?

I rather use BM3 for logging the tune, as it will be the most accurate way to understand/troubleshoot going forward. In the past we would have to depend on these bluetooth scanners with major data gap and miss on a lot of stuff.

BM3 dashboard + logging is the winner and the reason why I support it, no hiding from the real world
In the future I'm sure there would prob be something like OBD2/Bluetooth/Enet, the cords in my respect is good in my eyes because I know its getting Gigabit data no slow downs or data gap.

Didn't realize there is such a gap. I'll rig something together over the weeknd and figure out a way to tuck those wires!!

I went right to PTF in Mississauga but you can easily do it anywhere with an OTS map. Just have a good Indy shop pull the dme and mail it to them. I think all in was about 1500ish CDN. They only take USD so that was a 30% price increase right there...

I downsized the picture a little bit to make it easier for web browser.

In my opinion, 365whp for N55 EWG FBO is an impressive result for 91 Oct, even if you take 305whp for m235i baseline. You'll be looking at 380+ on 93.

Can you scan or take a full picture that includes the left axle showing the hp/tq value. We also need to know horizontal line of zero and ignore the part of curve below it. So that we see how really it holds up torque to top end.
