Hahahahaha! Unless you can prove negligence on the part of the store or one of their employees, they are not liable for damage caused by shopping carts.

Tell that to Wegmans who cut me a check for $1400. Depending on the store and their policy you're incorrect.

I’m still thinking to replace my aluminum interior trim with piano black. i already have the black thin trim surrounds under the aluminum. is it the case that the replacement bits just replace the aluminum, not the black/red/blue trim surrounds?

No. The piano black has silver accents. Same finish as trim on wheel - or pretty damn close.

My girlfriend told me she was proud of me for not completely losing it. Good news is they are sending me a check to cover the scratch as well as having the rim refinished.

Post wrap?

Hey guys!
I'm new in this forum and wasn't able to create a new thread about this..
I am currently searching for a new m240.. Thing is that I just have such hard time to find the right color... I would love the Melbourne Red or Mineral Grey. (I owned a melbourne red m235 earlier and now I own a all black 430)
So, either I continue on the search for these 2 colors on the car... OR I wrap it, what you guys think? Would nardo grey be looking cool on a m240? Black kidneys, probably black or light silver rims? or do you guys have any other ideas of wrapping color?
Thanks!

Test fit an off the shelf subwoofer enclosure to take measurements for a custom convertible trunk install. Will keep you guys posted. Should get about half a cubic foot of volume and accommodate a nice Focal speaker while taking no usable trunk space.

I turned the ASD back on, assuming BimmerLink did as it said, when I got to the coffee shop this morning. I didn't notice any change immediately. I'll try it for a while and see what I think. I'm philosophically opposed to fake noise but, who knows, maybe it'll please me at some unconscious level.

And I'll look at the details with BimmerCode when I get a chance. Maybe I have some detailed value set to "Boring".

We'll see.

I could be mis-remembering, but I thought there was an issue with ASD coding off in Bimmercode being permanent.

That'd be interesting. Later: And it was.

Brought up Bimmercode when I got home, went to ASD and it says to restore, restore a backup. Well, OK, I restored my oldest backup (losing whatever else I'd done). I thought maybe I could hear the sound change when I clicked to Sport.

But --- it's possible that I originally used Bimmerlink to turn it off. So who knows. More in my reply ...

So I decided to do the VLD (variable lighting) coding. It didn't go as advertised. There are two sets of values in the two areas you're supposed to change, like from disabled to enabled, or from B0 to BC or whatever it was.

But I could only set ONE of the two in both cases, as if they were both referring to the same side or something.

Anyway I set them to enabled and BC (or whatever) and it gave me LEFT HEADLIGHT MALFUNCTION DANGER WILL ROBINSON WARNING WARNING.

Restarted the car, the indicator was still on, went to notifications and it was on briefly then turned off.

I'm not sure if anything's different. Didn't see anything happening in the garage. I'll watch it at night. Anyway the lights still come on, and it didn't brick the car.

Fascinating.

I have DWS06 on my F23 and just put AS3+ on the E46. Both are good but the F23 will be getting Michelin rubber next time.

For my CR buddies you can get a matching e-brake handle, just installed one today...
