Manhart stage 1 cost

Does anyone know the cost of the Manhart MHtronik stage 1 for m235i? I've been trying to decide on a tune for a while now and I had my heart set on the jb4 but I've been reading into it and there seems to be a lot of issues.

Honestly, i'd purchase a JB4 w/ EWG Harness, Catless Downpipe, ER Front mount intercooler, and an ER Charge pipe for that money...and be making significantly more power

Is it the old or the newer aluminium versions?
I`d only use this one anymore since it`s way better!

I strongly support that claim. If you get on old one used for a good price, go for it. But if the price is anywhere near a new one, please get the new one. It is a complely new developed system.

The quoted price on the MHtronic was spot-on.

An alternative: If you send us your ECU you will get it back with a custom tune and Vmax removed for $1,900. (and if you need it an optional cat delete)

Alex, that is absolutely fine and a possible route to go. That is why there are different options out there. I did have a JB4 myself in the past. And it was fine for me as I did not need anything more. Recently however I drove a more "refined" system and was in for a pleaseant surprise.
It's like going from a (insert entry level car brand here) to a BMW. Both drive. It is just the way they do it that differs.
Go out and ask people that have tried both. Take their advice and compare it to your needs. And then decide.

.
Same here.. After driving a friend BMS Stage1 and JB4 and then driving my RaceChip noticed the difference. But now ECU Flashed, its like its just that much better, although the RC is smooth and you would not know there's a piggyback on the car (No DTMAL or errors like my BMS friends)
