Interesting viewpoint.

I'm ok with the stock setup, particularly with a catless DP. Be nice if more weight/performance gains were picked up with the after market. That would certainly make it more tempting.

I know a few people with N55 F30s have done a resonator delete with or without a muffler delete. Has anyone around here done that or heard it? I'm thinking I'll do a resonator (the small in-line muffler near the rear muffler) with stock muffler and the sports mode valve unplug trick. I definitely want it louder than stock but I don't think the m perf is loud enough, and I don't want to spend a ton of cash on a rear section or worry about warranty.

Haha, that sentence is perfect. That exhaust sounds amazing. I was planning on going with a muffler delete, but after hearing that clip I'm starting to lean this way. I'd probably end up adding the mid-pipe later as well.
