A lot of your gripes are legit. I'm a bit disappointed that this is a very lateral move from the 135i (at best), but the whole "Civic rear" thing is so fucking stupid. The rear of this car is ugly, but it does not look anything like a Civic.

Aero Kit delete reflector???

While drooling over these pics I noticed that the front side reflectors had disappeared off the M Performance car.

All the shots and videos from Vegas show them still there on the test cars.

If that reflector shows up on the Aero Kit, that is a definite disappointment to such a clean look.

Both of these cars look sooooo good. I would LOVE to have the 235i racing for a track toy.

Can anyone figure anything about the differential based off the pics?

i just think the front end of the 2 is so much better than the 3 and 4. the lights are more conservative, which adds a bit more class. and with the black grilles, it all just looks amazing. I wish they put this on the 4

They both look amazing. The m235i is going to be one hell of a fun car.

Can anybody that was there explain what this officially means?

"When the dynamic stability control function DSC is deactivated, the torque-sensitive mechanical limited-slip differential in the rear axle ensures traction-optimised distribution of drive torque between the rear wheels. It reduces the slip that occurs on the wheel with less grip by transferring more drive power to the other wheels using a blocking effect"

The LSD is active all the time or only when DSC is off ?

The rear is horrid, and from the rear, the 2-series looks like a FWD car. not imposing, or stated what-so-ever.

You are asking an defunct question, that was already answer for you in another thread. This isn't NEW.

The M Performance car is a European model M235i.
So you will still have the required reflectors.

Scott, I recall you mentioning that the M235 would have a power kit available. I only see a kit for the diesel engine.

The performance diffuser is a must have I think for this car - unless it is cost prohibitive. But it certainly looks a lot better.

There IS supposed to be one - 350 Bhp range is the rumor, but no confirmed details at this point.

Is it me or are te headlights slightly different between the Racing and standard model? I notice a small black graphic running across the top of te headlight which gives a slightly blacked out appearance?

Also car looks much better IMO without the air blades if attaching the M Performance lip. And the lip being dark (black or carbon). Looks more M than M performance.

Good eye. Don't know what that is, but if it's just a decal and doesn't require opening up the light, rest assured I'll be doing it to my M235i! Looks great.

Very dark, but certainly carbon fiber. If you look closely you can see the grain.
