I figure I'm just going to see what happens on Thursday. Doesn't seem like we're going to get any more info until then. P.S. I was reading that the next gen M3 might be getting electric turbos with water injection like on the M4 GTS. I thought that was pretty interesting

Doesn't the show officially kick off tomorrow? I'm so crazy with the wait. I look on this forum every single day salivating for the tiniest bit of info. I do the same on the GT350 board as well. I'm basically down between the GT350, M2 and M3. Love the M3 but it's about 77.5k how I want it, anticipating the M2 to be around 65 and the GT350 about 61. It's down to $ and refinement. I know the 350 will be dead last in refinement but it will be an absolute monster and may actually hold its value better than either Bmw. I'm just not sure I'm ready for a mustang... That and it was no usable back seat, sat there and literally could not fit. And I fit perfectly in the back of a 235.
We'll see, dying for some real info, track tests and top gear drives.

I'd expect the M2 concept to be there.
Whether or not it gets revealed to public/press is another matter. Could be another closed doors type affair. |

I mean isn't this what marketing is? It would seem we have all lost hope and then BAM! BMW reveals the car, becoming everyone's savior. Or at least that's what I hope.

I am in Geneva, having arrived earlier today.
Tonight is the annual BMW CH preview which takes in all forthcoming vehicles for launch in 2015.

This is live footage from Genf (today is the VW evening):
http://www.faz.net/aktuell/technik-m...-13455297.html As you can see, also VW (VAG) had some surprises. Why shouldn't BMW do the same? I'am hopeful. |

Yea probably. I was looking at the websites and that was probably for public viewing. Either way, I'm not holding my breath. Lost my patience and I'm just thinking I'll see it when I see it

In the meantime test mules will keep zooming around, revealing more details, we may reasonably presume. And, not unlikely, a teaser campaign.

Let us know if there are also other BMW goodies (or teasers) on display than those mentioned in the BMW press release of Feb 16, 2015:

It would make too much sense for BMW to release a pre-production model, to maintain and increase interest levels.
What if the //M2 isn't as ground breaking as we wish it to be? It makes sense then, to hide it and quietly roll it out in September. Hmm... |

Don't rule out an M2 teaser being released this Spring.
BMW posted the first 1M teaser video in July 2010. Back in the day the car was not in final trim yet (as you can see in the video: headlights, tail lights, mirrors). As we know, the 1M was presented in January 2011 at the Detroit Motor Show and went into production in Spring 2011. "Step 1" ("You will love it - but you have to wait for it.") "Step 2": The second 1M teaser video was released in November 2010: "Step 3": The third and final 1M teaser video was released in December 2010: In months following the 1M made available (May 2011), three commercials were released ("Walls" - "Helipad" - "Perfect Balance"): http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...88&postcount=9
