Hey guys,

I need help identifying my brakes so I can buy the proper spare wheel/tire. I drive a 2016 228i xdrive MSport.

This is the spare I'd like to buy.

Fits all F22 228i (Base, Sports, M-Sports Packages With Standard Gray Calipers)
WILL NOT FIT BMW SPORTS BRAKES (Gray Caliper with BMW Text Logo), M-SPORTS BRAKES, or TRACK PACKAGE (Blue Caliper with M logo), Use the M235i Spare Tire for these applications


Do I have Sports brakes or just the standard ones? Description makes me believe they are Sports brakes but I can't find any info on the BMW website.

They look like stock brakes. But call BimmerZone and give them the last 7 digits of the VIN. They should be able to determine if the brakes fit or not.

Those are the standard brakes.

I don't have those little inserts that say BMW
