M240i xDrive suspension

So, I'm looking at potentially getting the new M240i. Currently I have a 340i xDrive and it does not come with a sport suspension - it is only available on the RWD. My question is if the suspension on the 240 is the same on RWD and AWD versions, or like the 3 series the xDrive only comes with the non-sport version.

Thanks in advance.

The suspension on the M240i is the same regardless if you choose RWD or xdrive. You are correct the 3 and 5 series have different suspension if you go with xdrive.

Correct. Unlike the F30 (and E90 for that matter) you don't get gypped in the suspension department when you opting for xDrive in the M235/40. Same ride height, adaptive dampers, springs etc.

Lower control arms are not the same though.... and you can't use the M2/M3/M4 arms as they won't fit so your only way to get extra camber is with camber plates

dampers, springs are the same I believe though....

Suspension on xDrive 235 (and RWD) is an excellent blend of performance and comfort. BMW really nailed the suspension with both 2 and 4 wheel versions of this car, unlike the lame 3er xDrive.
