JB4 with only MPE & Canadian 94 Octane

Hey Guys

so i'm wondering what map would be the best Map for me while staying stock (just MPE) . most people would probably suggest Map1 but as far as i know canadian octane is higher than Euro and US , so will i be ok with Map 2 or go with Map 5 ?

Map 0: JB4 disabled
Map 1: Peak boost 12.5psi, suggest for most racing applications.
Map 2: Peak boost 14.0psi, suggested for those using exhaust mods and 93 RM2 octane or higher fuels
Map 3: Progressive methanol mapping
Map 4: Stock performance, JB4 on
Map 5: Autotuning, enabled in 8.8 and later firmware
Map 6: User definable map. Suggested for troubleshooting by professionals only.
Map 7: Race gas map. Peak boost 18.5psi. Requires straight unleaded race gas.

canadian Octane is not Higher than Euro.
We have such shiet fuel here its insane.
Euro has 99-100 octane as their premium.
The only octane they use 89 for is Military vehicles because that stuff will run on anything lol.

the AKI shown in Canada and the United States is 4 to 6 octane numbers lower than elsewhere in the world for the same fuel. This difference between RON and MON is known as the fuel's Sensitivity,[4] and is not typically published for those countries that use the Anti-Knock Index labelling system.

OP,

Have you connected extra EWG harness ?

If yes, give map 5 a go to compare with map 1.

If not, try map 1 and then map 2 - both additive maps but direct EWG control [via extra harness] is disabled. Both maps have partial initial adaptions to suit fuel, car and driving style.

You may not feel much difference between map 1 and map 2 if you car is stock as map 2 adaptions may learn downwards ie similar to map 1.
